Dr. William Wilson M.C.M.A. G.H.S.C. S.Q.H.P.
Dr. Wilson is a native of Northern Ireland originally and, arriving back from living for a time in Spain, where he studied ‘Noesi-therapy’ – a method of Psychological Pain Relief – he then settled in the Midlands in the U.K.
He trained shortly afterwards in Perth in Scotland, at a General Hypnotherapy Standards Council registered training school.
He has been a practising Clinical Hypnotherapist since the mid nineties, teaching for half that time. He has worked with many companies and individuals, from the golf professionals at the Belfry Hotel, to the British Olympic Power Lifting Team.
Dr. Wilson says:
“I considered Clinical Hypnotherapy as a profession, because it is, by its very nature, a one-to-one relationship, and tends to be a solitary profession. During training, I found that much introspection was required for self analysis. Achieving the satisfaction of saying the ‘right’ words, and seeing great change manifest, more than compensates for that solitary aspect of the work”.
“My goal, and motivation to write and teach my own course, is to see an established Clinical Hypnotherapist in every medical centre and hospital; for them to work hand in hand with conventional medical practitioners in an integrated approach to physical and psychological health care”.
