This course provides an understanding of nutrition and its importance in everyday life. It is an essential course for all those involved in complementary therapy as it provides practical information on all aspects of diet and nutrition that can be easily passed on as advice to clients. This course looks at what is a Balanced Diet, what is energy density and acid-base balance.
It looks at the fundamental unit of life, which is the cell, how this produces energy from the food that we eat, where our genetic material is stored and how our cells replicate.
