Feng Shui
Well-being and optimum health rely on a healthy environment inside and outside of the physical body.
Feng Shui looks at the energy flow around the person, in the dwelling, office or any other defined space and seeks to harmonize flow and restore balance using knowledge of the Ba-Gua (Pa-Kua) and the Chinese law of 5 elements. Bringing together these 2 systems gives us a simple way of reinforcing each system and helps remove blocks and allow progress.
Feng Shui works on the basis that energy flows in specific ways around a space and that the nature of the energy varies depending upon where in the flow. In the same way energy in one part of a space will impact differently on the occupant than that in another area.
Obstructions in the flow can change the quality of the energy and cause a build-up of blockage or negative energy, which eventually manifests in a lowering of potential and can become physical symptoms.
Basic Principles
• Energy enters a space through doors and windows and can leave by the same route
• Too fast a flow “flushes out” rather than nourishes.
• Pressurized flow compresses
• Head-on flows create turbulence.
• Corners and points create “poison arrows”.
